Back to School Social
An outdoor evening event right on our Sutter blacktop, where we’ll enjoy games and treats. Come meet new friends and rekindle old friendships.
Book Fair
You can shop for books at our in-person fair or online and Scholastic will give back rewards to our school.
Walkathon
In partnership with teachers, the PTA hosts this school-wide event where we walk and raise money to support various programs at Sutter.
Red Ribbon Week
A week-long event that is district-wide that teaches kids about the dangers of drugs. Fun themed days and an assembly at the end of the week.
Sutterfest
A fun Fall tradition at Sutter. We will have carnival-themed games, food, and even a haunted house!
Movie Night
Cozy up in your pjs and blankets, and enjoy some sweet treats. We’ll watch a movie together in the multipurpose room.
Art Explosion
An evening of amazing creativity where students come and explore their artistic side.
Multicultural Celebration
An evening to showcase all the cultures represented at Sutter. Food, crafts, dancing, and lots of fun!
Volunteer Breakfast
This event is hosted together with our Sutter teachers, where we show our gratitude to all our volunteers. We will also acknowledge winners of PTA’s Honorary Service Award. We wouldn’t be able to do this without you!
Frog Week
A long tradition at Sutter where we celebrate our frog mascot! Students get to handle live frogs and play frog-themed games.
Staff Appreciation Week
All week long we provide lunch for the teachers and staff to show them how much we love them!
Project Cornerstone
An initiative of the YMCA of Silicon Valley, volunteers spend time in the classroom every month with a different book where they will lead discussions and activities for students to learn important social-emotional skills.
Art in Action
Volunteers are needed to lead art projects in the classrooms throughout the year.
Yearbook

Honorary Service Awards
These awards are to publicly acknowledge individuals for outstanding community service to Sutter's community. Awards are given out during our Volunteer Breakfast.
